Description:
Epi-Otic is a non-irritant ear cleanser formulated to remove crusts and excessive cerumen. Epi-Otic, using Spherulites and Chitosanide, represents a breakthrough in skin care technology. Spherulites; an exclusive and patented encapsulation system developed by Allerderm; provides slow release of ingredients long after product application. Chitosanide: a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the surface of the skin. This technology reinforces the effectiveness and duration of action of the formulation.

Uses:
Epi-Otic may be used for routine ear cleansing in healthy ear canals or prior to administration of other ear preparations in the treatment of otitis externa. It may be used in dogs and cats of any age.

Directions:
Shake well before use. Turn the white nozzle to open the product and then apply liberally into the ear canal. Gently rub into the base of the ear and then wipe the interior of the ear flap with cotton or cloth moistened with Epi-Otic. Frequency of use: from two to three times a week to daily for routine use, before each ear treatment in the case of otitis externa, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Ingredients:
Lactic acid and salicylic acid are present in encapsulated (Spherulites) and free forms. Chitosanide is present in encapsulated form. PCMX, propylene glycol, and sodium docusate are present in free form. Also contains water, fragrance, and FD&C blue #1.
